Description
Our Limerick city office is a growing hub with a broad mix of SME clients both regionally and across Ireland.
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our well-known tax team.
The role will work as part of the existing tax team in Limerick with the opportunity to also be part of our wider Xeinadin tax operations.
Key Responsibilities Provide tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including multinational corporations, SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals, on a range of tax matters including corporate tax, VAT, income tax, and international tax planning.Oversee and manage tax compliance for clients, ensuring the timely and accurate filing of returns in accordance with Irish tax laws and regulations.
Ensure appropriate corporate tax provisions and reporting.Advise clients on tax-efficient structures and strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Conduct tax reviews and due diligence as part of mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and other corporate restructuring projects.Manage transfer pricing documentation and compliance projects, assisting clients with the preparation of transfer pricing reports in line with OECD guidelines and Irish requirements.Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, international tax treaties, and other relevant areas.
Provide proactive advice to clients on how to adapt to these changes.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering high-quality tax services.
Develop new business opportunities within existing client relationships and contribute to the firm's growth strategy.Manage, mentor, and train junior tax staff, providing guidance and support in their development.
Help build a collaborative and high-performance team environment.Work closely with other departments (audit, legal, consulting) to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
Collaborate with senior leadership to refine tax strategies and ensure the quality of service delivery.Provide expertise on complex tax issues, including handling tax audits, investigations, and disputes with the Irish Revenue Commissioners.
Support clients in negotiating settlements or dispute resolutions.Assist with budgeting and forecasting tax services for clients.
Ensure the profitability of engagements and manage the financial performance of tax projects.Key Requirements ACA/ ACA/ CTA/ AITI desirable with 2+ years PQE.
