We are proud to be launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM's global Product and Technology organization.
SiriusXM's new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology, engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM's streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.
Role Overview: The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test procedures to ensure that software programs work as intended. This position will be a part of the software development team. The successful candidate will work cooperatively with software engineers, product and program managers.
What you'll do: Work with software engineers, program managers, requirements managers, and other product stakeholders to understand product features and requirements.Assist in the development of manual and automated test cases.Work closely with development teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed.Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, ensuring quality and stability throughout the project.Generate testing completion metrics and analysis, as well as status read-outs to upper management.Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test methodologies to ensure exhaustive testing of software systems.Anticipate potential software problems by creating test scenarios.What you'll need: BS in Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience required.
