AWS Lambda, at the heart of the Serverless movement, is a fast-growing service that is becoming the default compute infrastructure for a wide range of applications.
We are looking for a proven leader to help lead teams of exceptional software engineers to tackle some of the hardest problems at global scale. We want someone who has a proven record of delivering highly operable and maintainable software on time, has relentlessly high standards for themselves and everyone around them, and who will drive engineering best practices while constantly looking for ways to make the systems we own better.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.Experience in engineering team management.Experience in engineering.Experience in leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.Experience partnering with product and program management teams. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers.
