Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversitySoftware Engineering Manager We have an opportunity for a Software Engineering Manager to join us at Honeywell, in Dublin, where you will manage the Honeywell Forge development teams in Dublin focusing the teams to develop solutions that will be used to build complex enterprise applications that run in a public cloud environment using a micro-services based architecture. You will ensure features are delivered on time, on budget and according to requirements within a scaled agile framework. This is a hybrid role, 3 + 2 days model for office and home working.

Our flagship suite of applications, Honeywell Forge unites real-time data across assets, people, and processes to drive intelligent operations growth, productivity, and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities Engineering and Technology Leader for HCE Forge software development teams.Work closely with product management and architects to help develop epics and features for the platform roadmap.Work closely with engineering leadership to calculate engineering capacity and costs to build platform roadmap.Provide technical leadership and oversight in the development and implementation of engineering best practices.Coach and train team members in engineering best practices with particular focus on agile best practices.We Value Previous experience managing and leading backend and frontend development teams in an agile environment.Previous experience with micro-services and cloud native product development and have a good understanding of Kubernetes orchestration on Azure or AWS.Experience using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).Programming experience in C#, Java, or C++ with solid engineering practices.Solid experience with REST API development and exposure to React development.Our offer A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity, and innovation in an international work environment.Market specific training and ongoing personal development.Equal opportunity statement We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
