Sourcing Specialist Job ProfileControlled Environments Company (CEC) is a single source supplier and solutions provider to customers operating in critically clean and controlled environments.
We are currently recruiting for a Sourcing Specialist to work closely with sales personnel and cross functional teams within the organisation to help source products and solutions, provide technical support on queries, drive cost savings, and maximise business opportunities. ResponsibilitiesStrategic sourcing of products and suppliers to support open enquiriesSupport sales staff with technical queries on product and identify solutions for our customersEnsure timely turnaround on all customer enquiries to enable the best customer service experienceNegotiate pricing, deals, contracts and delivery schedules with suppliersIdentify, evaluate, and capitalise on opportunities to reduce sourcing costs, build on current product offering, and create additional value for customer baseConduct regular market and spend analysis to drive cost savings and supplier improvementsDevelop and maintain relationship with suppliers to ensure high quality & cost-effective solutionsPartner with key internal stakeholders to develop business and maximise opportunitiesManage tender enquiries and negotiation of contractsWork as part of a dynamic and experienced team to help achieve company goalsDevelop a strong understanding of our product offering, supplier base, competitive landscape, and customer applicationsSkills & ExperienceQualification or 4 years relevant experienceA background in supply chain or sourcing preferredExperience in supplier evaluation, negotiation & selectionProven ability to identify solutions and problem solveMust be comfortable and capable working in a fast-paced environmentStrong organisational & administration skillsAbility to absorb technical information of productsExcellent negotiation and decision-making skillsGood computer skills (MS Office), SAP ERP experience highly desirableFlexible & Pro-active attitude with an ability to think strategicallyAbility to work as part of a team and support colleaguesAbility to work to agreed time scales and deadlines
