Our Process Engineering team are looking for the right teammate to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry. As a Staff Process Engineer, you will use sound and proven engineering principles in the implementation, characterisation, improvement, and qualification/validation of manufacturing processes for replicate manufacturing equipment used in the scale-up of new or existing products.
Where you come in: You will be responsible for the improvement, optimisation, and implementation of manufacturing process/assembly steps and operating procedures for replicate equipment and processes within a regulated quality system.You will lead and support equipment/process qualifications including protocol development and execution.You will develop and maintain project timelines and provide updates and feedback to project leadership.You will implement problem solving skills and techniques to identify potential process risks, assess their impact, developing and implementing mitigation plans.You will plan and perform Design of Experiments (DOE) and utilise six sigma methodologies to characterise, assess capabilities, and determine optimal processing operating windows.You will consult with vendors to produce equipment, materials, and/or parts that meet determined product specifications.You will perform statistically robust and industry standard analysis of data, and present findings to technical teams.You will exercise judgement within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.You will transfer process knowledge and understanding to receiving site operations teams along with providing technical training for responsible processes.You will assist in the development of project timelines and provide technical updates and feedback to project leadership.You will consult with AME Process Engineering in scaling up equipment and processes from prototype to pilot to full scale manufacturing.You will assume and perform other duties as assigned.What makes you successful: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience.Ability to run self-directed projects, maintain timelines, stay organised, and balance multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and a willingness to try new/challenging things.Proven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.Familiar with experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of experiments; JMP experience, Statgraphics or Minitab preferred.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills.Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing processes and designs.What you'll get: A front row seat to life changing CGM technology.A full and comprehensive benefits program.Growth opportunities on a global scale.Access to career development through in-house learning programs and/or qualified tuition reimbursement.An exciting and innovative, industry-leading organisation committed to our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.
