Our Quality Assurance team are looking for a dynamic and skilledIncomingInspection Supervisor to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry. In this role, you will plan and direct the activities related to the inspection function in a manner which meets company standards and methods asdeterminedby Quality Assurance or other engineering departments. You will outline and implement training procedures of employees for the inspection operation including drawings, prints,schematicsand quality assurance standards. You will take an active role in making recommendations for capital expenditures andmanpowerin the inspection area as well as selecting and developing personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Where you come in:
You will perform supervisory and administrative duties associated with inspectionresourcemanagement.

You will coordinatethe tasks and work plans of thereceiving inspection area.

You willobserveand verifythe accuracy and adequacy of the inspection activities and records.

You willbe responsible formaterial flow, storage of parts, andaccurateinventory transactions within the MRP system.?

You willmaintainquality metrics and reports, asrequired, and implement appropriatepreventative/corrective action to improve quality.

You willidentifypotential issuesand propose resolutions that aretimely, cost-effective, and meet quality requirements.

You willidentifyand implement continuous improvement projects.

You willassistinthedevelopment of inspection procedures.?

You willbe responsible forsupporting inspection of engineering builds.

You will work across sites to ensure alignment of Product Release Activities

You will conduct trainingforreceivinginspectionteam.

You will work with QA, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other department personnel, as necessary, to support quality and businessobjectives.

You will assume and perform other duties as assigned.

What makes you successful:
Typically requires aBachelor'sdegree with 5-8 years of industry experience. Informal management/ team lead experience.

You have experience in medical device or equivalent regulated industry

You have a minimum of 3 years applying quality management systems

You understandacceptance sampling plans, ANSI/ASQ Z1.4, Z1.9 and C=0.

You canread and understand specifications and inspection criteria and to apply criteria usingappropriateand properly configured inspection tools.?

You are aself-motivated individual, able to work in a team with minimal supervision.

You have strong computer skills desired; proficient in use of Microsoft Office and database applications.? Oracle and SolidWorks experience preferred.

Youhave strong written and verbal communication skills.
