Job Description VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major Distribution Company with the Recruitment of a Supply Chain & Customs SeniorSalary - €40,000 - €45,000Hours - Mon-Thu-09:00 - 17:30 - Fri - 09:00 - 16:30Responsibilities:-Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of products.-Analyse and forecast supply chain data to optimise inventory levels.-Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to coordinate supply chain activities.-Implement and maintain systems to track inventory and streamline supply chain processes.-Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain and implement solutions-Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may arise-Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standardsEssential Experience:Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import & export procedures, and trade complianceAbility to work under pressure and on their own initiativeProven ability to prioritise objectives and dutiesExcellent PC Skills, particularly Microsoft ExcelExcellent Communication skills both written and verbalThe ideal candidate will be self-motivated, self-directing and proactive with a good work ethicProblem solving, attention to detail and flexibility are essential skillsThe ability to organise, plan and communicate is essentialExperience and Qualifications Essential: * Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar roleThird level relevant qualification - e.g.
Diploma in Business and FinanceKnowledge of ERP Systems and Microsoft Excel is essential Desirable:Relevant experience in an FMCG environment would be an advantageCustoms Qualification
