Job description About your new job Oversee logistics for high-volume inbound and outbound goods, including raw materials and finished products.
Proactively monitor inventory and implement plans to meet targets.
Maintain a stable supply plan, identifying and correcting deviations.
Ensure safety stocks are maintained to meet production lead times for core products.
Translate site strategy into actionable plans, managing cross-functional teams to achieve KPIs.
Develop and present scenario analyses to support supply chain decisions.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using techniques like Operational Excellence, 5S, and Lean-Six-Sigma.
Coordinate with S&OP teams to align supply chain, sales, and planning.
Collaborate with the NPI team for new product introductions.
Implement process improvements and enhance team performance, productivity, and satisfaction.
Manage raw material quality, including supplier contact, complaint handling, returns, and credits.
Work with minimal supervision, guided by operational and project objectives.
Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, health, and safety standards.
Develop consignment stock agreements with key suppliers.
Manage monthly cycle counts and end-of-year inventory.
Monitor performance KPIs and implement corrective and preventive actions.
What skill/experience you need 10+ years experience in leading teams within regulated manufacturing.
Background in Supply Chain, Planning, or Logistics or similar business fields.
Engineering experience in Electronic or Electrical fields is a plus.
SAP familiarity is beneficial as the company transitions to this system.
Knowledge of Known Consignor compliance is an asset.
Lean methodology and project management experience are advantageous.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to connect across all levels, from operators to senior management.
