Our client is seeking an experienced legal professional to fill the role of SVP Legal based in Shannon. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to their success by providing legal and transactional support within the dynamic field of aviation leasing.
They currently have a requirement for a Qualified Solicitor ideally with 8+ years PQE.

What you'll be doing: Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to senior management, fostering compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Oversee the negotiation and drafting of complex legal agreements, ensuring favourable outcomes for the organisation.Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess and mitigate commercial risks associated with aviation leasing transactions.Represent the organisation in legal proceedings and negotiations, advocating for their interests and protecting their assets.Stay abreast of developments in aviation regulations and industry trends, advising stakeholders on potential implications and opportunities. What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.Valid legal practice license in the USA, England, and/or Ireland.Minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience in legal practice.Demonstrated expertise in management and supervision.Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and legal skills, coupled with a strong commercial acumen.Experience in engaging with senior management and effectively managing teams.Extensive proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal agreements.In-depth understanding of commercial risks within the aviation industry, with regional experience considered advantageous.
