As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in building our future workforce.
Role Summary: As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to drive the continued success of Douglas Control and Automation.
Youll manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding, while ensuring a positive experience for every applicant.
In this role, youll work closely with department leaders to understand their staffing needs and bring in individuals who share our passion for innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiation.
Talent Sourcing: Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify top talent, including active and passive candidate sourcing, utilizing job boards, social media, networking, and partnerships with local institutions.
Employer Branding: Work with the marketing team to enhance the companys employer brand through social media, career events, and targeted campaigns.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing channels, time-to-fill, and candidate quality, adjusting strategies as needed.
Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and seamless experience for all candidates by providing timely communication and feedback throughout the hiring process.
Onboarding Support: Assist in coordinating the onboarding process to help new hires transition smoothly into the company.
Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within technical or engineering sectors.
Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Skills: Strong sourcing and interviewing skills, with a deep understanding of best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
