Qualifications and Experience The successful candidate must:
Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU Or · Hold a CORU approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application is necessary)

Hold a relevant management qualification Have at least 5 years post qualification/registration experience gained with an up-to-date knowledge of current thinking and practice in services for people with intellectual disability. Have adequate training and experience pertinent to people with challenging behavior and severe to profound Intellectual Disabilities Have 3 year experience at management level in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care. Working knowledge and understanding of requirements of HIQA standards and a proven ability to implement standards and regulations. Be computer literate. Possess a full clean driving licence. Recognise the equal rights of persons with intellectual disabilities in society and uphold and respect those rights. Experience of working as a member of a team is essential. INDSE
