We are currently working closely with a well-established consultancy to recruit a Planning Consultant in Dublin.
This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the booming energy and renewable energy sector.

Previous experience in the energy or renewable energy sector is not essential to succeed in this role.)
My client is also managing a diverse existing pipeline of projects in the residential and commercial sector, so with a good grounding in planning, you could hit the ground running with ease.
As a Town Planning Consultant, you could progress with a well-balanced team that enjoys a 'family feel' culture, flexible working, and regular socials, and has established a reputation for excellence whilst consulting on a growing pipeline of projects.
With the support of multiple teams across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and GB, you could also gain exposure to projects on both sides of the Irish Sea, allowing you to further diversify your project pipeline and become an expert on a variety of planning systems.
Your responsibilities will include (depending on level):Assisting on planning applications through the development process.Writing the detail on reports and planning documents.Taking part in client meetings and liaising with key stakeholders.Assisting with appraisals for potential sites for clients and doing pre-application meetings and work.Keeping up to date with changes in planning policy.Ideally, you will:Be working towards becoming a Member of IPI or MIPI.Have at least 12 months of industry experience, in consultancy, client side, or in a local authority.Have a strong commercial understanding across the wider sector including planning.Be an excellent communicator with good technical and writing skills.Please apply here or give me (Tom) a call to discuss.
