The role requires a person with strong influencing skills selling the company's range of products. It requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain relationships with current customers and develop relationships with new customers. This person must be dependable from a customer's perspective and allow them to feel their needs are fully catered for.
Roles and responsibilities will include:Proven track record working as a van sales representativeAchieve agreed sales targets and customer call rates consistent with the run schedulePresent, promote and sell current range of products and introduce new lines to customers on an ongoing basisEnsure product range is correctly merchandised with proper stock rotation on the shelfExpedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfactionMaintain full stock control of vehicleReport customer needs, competitor activities and potential new products to the Sales ManagerAbility to optimise the strategic placement of FSDUs in storeKey Skills:Be a self-starter to achieve sales targets and maintain strong customer relationshipsAlways strive to achieve timescales and meet deadlines to maximise salesTake the time to achieve results through a logical and systematic approachStrong influencing skills to achieve target salesAbility to work within the broad parameters of the companyAbility to keep abreast of best practices and promotional trendsQualification and experience:Minimum of 5 years experience in salesMinimum full clean B driving licencePrevious experience in the use of handheld sales devices
