Join Vitalograph as a VPM IT Support Engineer , where you'll work with cutting-edge tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape the future of our clinical trials management system.
  About VPM: The VPM application, powered by Sunrise Software, is a highly configurable, rules-based platform that ensures business processes run smoothly and efficiently.
With a strong foundation built on process lifecycle, criteria-based event rules, and rigorous validation, VPM supports vital business operations, providing a seamless and efficient workflow for our clinical trials.
  What You'll Do: As a VPM IT Support Engineer, you'll play an integral role in customising and maintaining the VPM system.
You'll ensure our business processes are efficient, compliant, and up to date.
  Key responsibilities include: Bulk Data Importing: Load clinical trial data for new and ongoing studies, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy.
Process Automation: Configure event-driven and validation rules to automate critical business functions, triggering actions and notifications exactly when needed.
Report & Dashboard Management: Customize scheduled reports and create real-time dashboards for our management team to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, then configure, test, and implement solutions that drive operational success.
Security Administration: Ensure that team members have the appropriate access to relevant tools and dashboards while maintaining data security.
Backup & Maintenance: Manage database backups and synchronize the live and test environments to safeguard data and keep the system running smoothly.
Integrations: Collaborate with software developers to manage VPM tools and streamline our carrier integrations with UPS and DSV via REST APIs.

What We're Looking For:         A qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline.
        Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with data processing expertise.
        Experience working with IT professionals in a collaborative environment.
        A customer-first mindset, ensuring high satisfaction levels among VPM system users.
Advantageous Skills:         ECDL qualification.
        Project Management certification (APM, PMP, or Prince 2).
        SQL experience, including scripting and database management.
        Familiarity with OAuth 2, APIs, and SSL certificates.
        Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and HTML document editing.
