Vacancy: Warehouse Operative Reporting to : Warehouse Manager Location: The Warehouse, Vision Ireland Retail, M7 Purpose of the job : Responsible for the processing of donations for resale in Vision Ireland's network of Charity Shops nationwide Applicants should have the ability to work in a busy environment.
Key Duties: Sort and grade textile/clothing items by separating into predetermined classifications (e.g., men's, women's, children's, and other textiles) and into quality levels (retail store grade, outlet grade, or salvage) and sort and grade household wares.
Helping with the loading and unloading of vans during busy periods. Adhere to safe work practices at all times and contributing to the establishment and maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment.
When necessary assist with the in house training of new Warehouse employees.
Assisting the Warehouse Manager with duties around warehouse 1 & 2 during busy periods.
