Warehouse Operative/Van Driver

TJ O' Mahony, Glasnevin, Ballyboggan Road, Glasnevin, D11 H003, part of HPC Sales Ltd., Irelands' leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store, is looking for a full-time, Permanent,  Warehouse Operative/Van Driver  to join our Team.
  Job Purpose:  Maintain the yard to a high standard.
Operate yard machinery and provide deliveries to our customers.
  Duties and Responsibilities: Check order and dockets prior to departure.
Ensure deliveries are delivered on time.
Ensure all PODs are signed and returned to the office on time.
Complete daily vehicle and load checks and report any incidents on the day.
Ensure loads are secured pre-departure.
Adherence to compliance with Health and Safety and Road Safety.
Multi drops and Branch to Branch runs.
Driving long and/or short distances.
Planning delivery schedules and routes with the Branch Manager.
Handling freight in a safe, efficient manner.
Helping load and unload goods.
Documenting the required important readings and lorry quantities including commodities in the driver's logbook.
Build excellent customer relationships.
Requirements: Forklift License.
Full Clean Driving License.
Display excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time keeping.
Be highly motivated and can work to set deadlines.
Team player with ability to work on own initiative.
Problem-solving skills.
Good road knowledge of surrounding areas.
