MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a construction company based in Belfast to recruit for a Payroll Officer on a full-time basis.
This role will be mainly payroll and needs you to have previous experience with payroll; however, it will also give you the opportunity to progress within HR or finance - your choice! The Role: Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR/Payroll Officer will be an integral part of the team.
Specific Duties Include, but are not limited to: Payroll: Check, query, calculate and accurately upload/input timesheet data to ensure that the payees across weekly payrolls are accurately paid.Calculate and input pay in accordance with appropriate schemes and statutory regulations.Check that all documentation received is properly authorised.Responsible for producing payroll-related reports and financial journals.Support the Payroll/HR with annual audit requirements.Provide Senior Management with accurate pay data promptly, often at short notice.HR: Assisting the HR team to ensure the correct paperwork has been completed across recruitment, promotion, and training opportunities.Support the HR team in the completion of regular audits of the HR personnel files.Supporting with Absence Management and Employee Relations.Support HRBP to drive strategic improvements to support business operations.Recruitment administration.Support the HR team to ensure the correct Right to Work checks have been completed.What You Need to Succeed: Experience in a payroll environment.General admin experience - desirable HR admin.Working knowledge of Microsoft apps.Highly motivated.What's in it for you?
