Why Actuary & Risk Modelling? Within Risk Modelling Services we advise on areas such as solvency, reserving, economic capital, financial modelling, new legislation, the viability of new products, and the efficiency of claims or reporting processes. We use a variety of techniques and different actuarial and data analytics software across each project. Whatever the project, you'll make the most of your analytical skill to deliver real commercial insights. Insights that will help our clients prepare for issues you see regularly on the news.
We look to develop accomplished all-round consultants, not just technically strong actuaries. This means exposure to a wide range of clients and project situations, including the opportunity to work in multidisciplinary teams or with people from our network firms overseas.
Our PwC Irish Risk Modelling Services practice provide support to clients in relation to all aspects of life and non-life insurance including reserving, Solvency II, IFRS 17, capital management, mergers & acquisitions, financial modelling, risk management solutions, and audit support, both in Ireland, across Continental Europe and the world.
Our current core focus areas are in ESG, Banking, Enterprise Risk Management, and Data Science and Analytics. We provide support to our strategy and consulting colleagues on whatever analytical problems that they face as part of multidisciplinary teams.
