The RoleCore Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong working relationships with Partners and Associates from other offices.Engage consistently with colleagues to understand ongoing deals and cases, while managing expectations.Oversee progress reporting and collaborate with internal and external clients to address relevant concerns, resolving queries and issues as they arise.Supervise and allocate tasks to Legal Professionals, ensuring they possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and support to deliver high-quality, timely outputs.Provide guidance and training to Legal Professionals on commercial and legal details, including quality checking their work.Offer legal expertise through drafting, reviewing, and amending documentation, managing documents, conducting legal research, and improving templates and precedents.Lead, develop, and motivate Legal Professionals, fostering a culture of excellent service delivery and maintaining impeccable quality standards.The successful candidate:A qualified solicitor or an experienced non-qualified legal professional in international capital markets (e.g., straight debt, derivatives, securitisation); strong Banking & Finance background will also be considered.Preferably experienced in a commercial setting such as a US, City, or major regional law firm; in-house experience with a bank or financial institution is also relevant.Proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-faceted matters, including those with multi-jurisdictional aspects.Experienced in managing teams and supervising junior members.Professional demeanor with high levels of integrity, resilience, and diplomacy.Commercially astute with a strong understanding of business needs.Excellent interpersonal and management skills.Flexible, resourceful, and hands-on, comfortable in a rapidly evolving business environment, with an interest in shaping its development.What is on offer to you: Competitive base salary based on experienceExceptional benefits packageHybrid working policyOpportunities to grow within the firmWork within a global law firmTo speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Samuel Neilly, Legal Recruitment Specialist at MCS Group 02896935502.
