Talbot Hotel Stillorgan are recruiting for experienced Accommodation Porter for our busy 4* Hotel.

Come experience it for yourself and join our team.  Overall Job Purpose: As an Accommodation Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable stay.
You will assist with a variety of housekeeping duties, including the movement of linen, guest requests, and general cleanliness throughout the hotel.
Your attention to detail and commitment to customer service will contribute to maintaining the high standards our guests expect.
Main Responsibilities: Assist housekeeping staff with the distribution and collection of linens, towels, and other supplies to/from guest rooms.
Deliver guest requests promptly (e.g., additional pillows, toiletries, etc.).
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of public areas, back-of-house spaces, and corridors.
Handle the removal of refuse and recycling from guest rooms and public areas.
Assist with setting up or moving furniture as needed for events or room arrangements.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the relevant department.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests, ensuring all requests are handled efficiently and courteously.
Assist with any additional housekeeping duties as required to support the team.
What is Required?
Previous experience in a similar role or within the hospitality industry is an advantage but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (e.g., linens, luggage) as part of daily tasks.
A positive attitude with a focus on providing superior guest service.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
