This role sits within the Study and Protect team which forms part of the wider Affinities, Specialty Department. It is a fast-paced, high energy, fun & friendly team. This role is available on a 12-month fixed term basis.
The Account Executive will share the management of an existing book of business including advising clients, inviting & securing renewals, as well as processing midterm alterations.
Sales and Activity Management: Responsible for Client insurance requirements1) Renewals Ensuring renewals are invited in line with agreed protocols and proceduresContributing to the achievement of the team's monthly retention targetsBinding Cover and issuing policy documentationInvoicing and premium collection2) Mid Term Adjustments Obtaining and offering quotations for midterm adjustmentsInvoicing and premium collection3) New Business Assisting the National Sales Team by providing quotations in a timely manner and assisting with any queries in respect of premiums and coversKeep client records complete, accurate and up to dateDeal with incoming & outgoing calls and queries between clients and insurersEnsure policies are ordered, paid for and issued in a timely mannerCustomer Relationship Management: Build effective working relationships with both new and existing customers by establishing trust, anticipating needs, sharing information and meeting commitmentsDeal with any issues that customers may have with their policiesAssist Compliance in dealing with complaintsCustomer Service: Take personal responsibility for delivering the highest level of accuracy and quality in your workDeal with requests and enquiries from customers, staff and management in a professional and timely manner and ensure that the complaint management standards and procedures are appliedDemonstrate promptness, dependability and commitment in dealing with customersTeam Collaboration: Contribute to the team by sharing information, ideas and opinionsBuild good working relationships, collaborate with other teams and treat others in a fair and respectful wayAssist other team members in completing their work when requiredCross department flexibility requiredCompliance: Ensure that all accounts are handled in line with compliance requirementsAdminister accounts in line with agreed policies and proceduresQualifications: Minimum APA requirementRequirements: Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environmentStrong communication skills are essentialPossess a positive, can do attitude with the ability to adapt to and embrace changeAttention to detailPossess the ability to manage deadlines & prioritise workloadContribute to positive team moraleA good degree of personal organisation and a structured approach to time and resource managementPerson Specification: Previous Open I experience preferable but not essentialProficient in Outlook, Word & ExcelFriendly and assertive manner on the phoneAbility to develop relationships with insurers and clientsWillingness to learn & developStrong work ethicCommitment to ongoing professional development
