A newly created position reporting to the CFO, this role will form part of the senior management team in this expanding construction organisation.
Role will provide financial insights, analysis, and support to the business to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for preparation of detailed financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to ensure the company's financial objectives are met.
Role Responsibilities: Oversight of the annual budget, strategic plans, forecasting and long-term financial plans for the company.
Analyse financial performance, including project costs, revenue, profitability, and cash flow.
Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, with insights and recommendations.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to construction projects and company performance, providing variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and business strategy.
Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and department heads to provide financial insights, guidance, and support for ongoing projects.
Support tendering processes by providing financial evaluations, cost analyses, and risk assessments for potential projects.
Develop financial models and scenarios to support business planning, investment decisions, and project evaluation.
Assist in identifying opportunities for cost-saving initiatives, process improvements and revenue enhancement within projects.
Monitor financial risks associated with construction projects, identifying potential financial impacts and mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data, documentation, and analysis.
Candidate Requirements: Qualified Accountant with minimum 4 years experience in financial analysis & planning within industry Experience within the construction sector preferable Highly proficient IT skills Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive and self-starting Fluent English is essential along with excellent communication skills A very attractive remuneration package is on offer for the successful candidate.
