A vacancy now exists for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join the finance team and gain exposure across all aspects of a busy finance function.

Role Responsibilities: Provide support to the Senior Accountant in the planning and monitoring of month end processes Preparation of monthly management accounts to include journals, reconciliations, profit margin and variance analysis Responsible for intercompany reconciliations and reporting Reporting of the monthly information pack to group level Working alongside senior accountant, assist with budget and forecasting analysis and commentaries Financial analysis and controlling of overheads Assisting in the preparation of Tax returns and statutory accounts Responsible for supporting the processing of asset sales and purchases Banking duties including authorising invoices and payments in accordance with regulations and procedures Point of contact for auditors and dealing with any queries Other ad-hoc reporting or duties as assigned by senior management Candidate Requirements: Recently Qualified Accountant Must possess good problem-solving skills with the ability to work well on own initiative Skilled in working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly at all levels within a business Proficient with IT systems and MS Office This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant looking for a broad role as they progress through their professional exams.
