Our client is a leading retailer in their sector with multiple locations across Ireland.
Currently undergoing significant expansion, they are seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant in their Head Office in Galway.
Known for their positive working culture & excellent benefits, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Technician or Part-Qualified Accountant to gain significant exposure across all areas of finance.
Job Responsibilities: Complete month end reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and suppliers Maintain fixed asset register for all companies Prepare month end journals Complete intercompany reconciliations Liaising with internal stakeholders on various queries Preparation of CSO and other statutory reporting requirements Assist with monthly management accounts preparation along with month end and quarter end reporting Assist with preparation of year end audit Prepare VAT, VIES, and Intrastat returns when due by Revenue Ad hoc duties to be performed as and when required Candidate Requirements: Qualified AccountingTechnician/Part-QualifiedAccountantdesirable Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel The candidate should be a high-energy individual with excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both aspart of a team and on own initiative, and good interpersonal skills An excellent remuneration and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate.
