Accountant

Job Title: Accountant (4-Month Contract) Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid) Start Date: Immediate FRS Recruitment is now seeking applications for a temporary Accountant to support a UK Finance Director in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts for a four-month contract.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Director of Finance and Operations to produce statutory accounts and supporting notes Prepare comprehensive audit working papers and act as the main point of contact for external auditors.
Assist with monthly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, and contribute to the production of monthly management accounts and board reports.
Provide support on accounts payable functions and help maintain an accurate chart of accounts for the UK team.
Key Requirements: Relevant professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to work effectively in a busy environment, plan work to meet deadlines, and respond to queries promptly.
Understanding of the charitable sector, as the company operates within the non-profit space.
Desirable Experience: Previous experience in a charity finance function.
Familiarity with Dynamics GP and SORP-compliant statutory accounts.
Experience liaising with external auditors.
