Job Description: UPS – Global Accounting Center (GAC) – Accounting Controls and Reporting (ACR) Supervisor The ACR Supervisor will report to the Dublin GAC ACR Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion ACR Entity Reporting activities in the Dublin Global Accounting Center and supporting the smooth running of Statutory (US GAAP and Local GAAP) and month end close activities.
Job duties: Manage and oversee work of the ACR Tower specialists
Coaching and development of ACR Tower specialist
Ownership of the end-to-end Local Statutory Audit process and Local Accounts Statutory filing
Oversight of EY co-sourcing staff: Arrange and provide training, review and ensure quality of work
Review and support adhoc activities such reconciliations or technical accounting support
Oversee smooth running of high quality and timely month end close
Manage reporting and stakeholder communication
Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and Operating Level Agreements
Support process management and improvement
Identification and resolution of risks in a timely manner
Assess, understand and manage interdependencies between work streams
Work collaboratively with Business Process Partner (BPP) Tower, Strategic Decision Support, Country Finance functions, and external Auditors to resolve issues
