Location: Galway City
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: 30,000 – 33,000 per annum
Start Date: Monday, 2nd September

Role Overview:
Are you an accounts professional looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to contribute to the financial operations of a well-established organisation and assist with a significant software transition.

Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage incoming payments, process invoices, and ensure timely collection Accounts Payable (AP): Process supplier invoices, manage payment schedules, and ensure all payments are made accurately and on time Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy and consistency General Accounts Administration: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to accounting, ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department Software Transition: Assist with the transition from the current in-house accounting system to Xero Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts administration role Experience with accounting software; experience with Xero is highly desirable but not essential Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, including AR, AP, and bank reconciliations Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel Why Apply?
