We are experts in the recovery, rendering and recycling of animal by-products.Munster Proteins operates from an EU approved modern processing unit at Cahir, Co. Tipperary.
We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Munster Proteins Finance Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career, or begin their career in Accountancy.
The Role: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Assist with processing invoices, managing payment runs, and reconciling supplier statements, as well as supporting accounts receivable functions as needed.
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records and identify discrepancies.
Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Assist in the processing of sales invoices and reconciling balances Assist in the preparation of documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
Requirements Previous experience is desirable however full training in relation to the position will be given.
Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
