Accounts Assistant

FRS Recruitment are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant with payroll experience to join our growing clients team.
This role is located in Bluebell Dublin 12 and is office based.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing payroll for 100 employees weekly, handling reconciliations, and supporting the company's financial processes.
Key Responsibilities: - Payroll Administration: Process weekly payroll for approximately 100 staff, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations (including PAYE and PRSI returns).
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform bank and income reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Overseeing Financials: Monitor the financial aspects of the company, providing insights and reports as required.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and compilation of annual budgets, ensuring financial planning aligns with company goals.
- Invoicing & Debt Collection: Manage invoicing processes and oversee debt collection to ensure timely payments from clients.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with payroll-related taxes and statutory obligations, including PAYE, PRSI, and other government returns.
Requirements: - Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounts or payroll role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, taxation (PAYE/PRSI), and relevant legislation.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills: - Experience with payroll software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Knowledge of financial reporting and budget preparation.
- Experience in debt management and collections.
