College Group are a privately held company founded in 1989. We are the largest processor and exporter of animal by-products in Ireland. Diversification and investment strategy has resulted in large scale developments in the production of biofuels and the manufacture of organic fertilisers. Continuous development has led to expansion into renewable energy with solar installation and planned renewable gas production.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Administrator for 9-12 month fixed term contract to join our Finance Team in Nobber, Co. Meath.
The Accounts Payable Specialist assists in smooth running of finance department by management of payments of vendors and suppliers.
We are currently seeking to recruit a skilled AP administrator to join our Finance team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
The AP specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Objectives of this role Support the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systems Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting Comply with all financial regulations Responsibilities Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments Liaising with managers for timely approval of invoices Maintain document management system Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation Assist with development and maintenance of purchase order system Assist senior financial accountants, CFO and senior management as required   Required skills and qualifications Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping Proven experience as Accounts payable or in a similar role.
Excellent time management skills and detail orientation Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information Accounts technician training desirable High attention to detail and ability to handle large data reports with an excellent degree of accuracy.
Strong excel, analytical and SAGE skills are a requirement.
