Accounts Payable Assistant - Part Time

Position: Accounts Payable Assistant
Location: Limerick Salary: Negotiable D.O.E
Responsibilities: Processing Monthly Invoices including duties such as matching to delivery dockets and entering into accounting systemCarrying out Creditors Reconciliations at month endProcessing Creditors Payments at month endOther administrative duties for example - Answering telephone, booking HotelsVerify and reconcile vendor accountsPrepare and track payment requestsAssist with month-end closing proceduresCommunicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepanciesMaintain documentation and filing systemsAssist with ad hoc finance projects as necessaryRequirements: 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related fieldProficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting softwareStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesKnowledge of basic accounting principles and practicesAbility to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
