Accounts Payable Specialist Ashbourne, €30 - 34K

Our client, a leading Irish logistics company, are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join there team in Ashbourne.
Main Duties: Report into the AP Team Leader.
Validate invoice costs.
Match invoices to the PO system.
High volume invoice processing.
Query, resolve and escalate to bring accounts up to date.
Complete creditor statement reconciliations.
Complete creditor payments.
Complete aged creditor reporting You will complete month end reporting.
Complete month-on-month expense breakdown, along with allocation to Principals.
Involvement in process improvements.
Provide full support to the Finance Function.
Complete ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Skills/Experience: Have a proficiency in maths and a desire to work with figures.
This role requires strong attention to detail and accurate data inputting, strong Excel skills are essential.
Ability to prioritize workload and consistently deliver to deadlines.
Be a team player.
Flexible and pro-actively uses own initiative.
Completer/finisher - follow through tasks, queries etc.
to completion.
Ability to effectively communicate up, across and down the organization, across multiple disciplines including operations, field sales, promotional & marketing and commercial teams as well as externally with customers and principals.
Previous experience in a similar role and/or in the FMCG industry would be ideal but not essential.
