ABOUT THE JOB: The role of the Customer Delivery Administrative Support is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Harvey Normans delivery service.
This position involves a variety of administrative tasks to support the Customer Delivery team including data entry, document management, communication with couriers, crews and customers, and assisting in the coordination of deliveries.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills.
YOUR JOB your tasks will include: Dealing with delivery drivers, couriers, and customers directly i.e., printing invoices, P/Os, and manifests.
Answer all incoming telephone calls in a professional, polite, and helpful manner.
Assist when required with all customer delivery enquiries and booking in of deliveries.
Ensure customers receive a high standard of support and that their needs are met.
Process customer complaints and strive to provide an appropriate and timely resolution.
Manage paperwork relevant to the Customer Delivery role.
Liaise with colleagues to resolve customer complaints and respond to customer queries.
Provide general administrative support to the Customer Delivery Planning Team.
Assist the Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of the Customer Delivery Department.
Accurately enter and maintain data in the logistics management systems.
Carry out administrative duties to support the efficient and effective operation.
Carry out necessary ad-hoc administration duties.
YOUR PROFILE your knowledge, skills and experience include: Strong administrative skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
Previous experience in an administrative support role is an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Disciplined and well organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate good time management with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Fluent in English both written and oral.
Be a team player and willingness to learn.
Must have previous office experience.
Candidates should be able to work as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
Daily interaction with the public in person, by phone and email.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work with a positive attitude.

Additional Information: This is a fixed term seasonal contract.
We need employees to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
