Description: Cpl Healthcare is currently sourcing an Agency CNM 2 for work in Dublin for the Schools Immunisation ProgrammeInformation:The immunisation service encompasses a varied range of vaccine pathways including Covid 19, Influenza, the catch up programme for refugees and applicants seeking protection in Ireland and The Schools Immunisation Programme (SIP).
Other adhoc programmes such as MMR, MPox, HPV are also included from time to time.All programmes are developed in accordance with the guidance issued by the National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) and contained in the The Schools Immunisation Programme is part of a national strategy to protect children from infectious diseases through vaccination.
Specifically the Schools Immunisation Programme protects against the following diseases with the named vaccines:Measles, mumps, rubella with MMR vaccineTetanus, diphtheria, polio, pertussis with DTaP/IPV vaccineTetanus, diphtheria, pertussis with Tdap vaccineHuman papillomavirus (HPV) with HPV vaccineMeningococcal A, C, W and Y infection with MenACWY vaccineThe schools based immunisation programme is delivered predominately in the school environment by multi-disciplinary teams comprising of Nurses, Community Medical Doctors, and Clerical support staff.
