Aircraft Leasing Audit Manager – Dublin, Ireland About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aircraft Leasing Audit Manager to join a prominent international leader in the aircraft leasing industry.
Based in Dublin, this role involves conducting comprehensive financial audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting risk management initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in financial auditing within aircraft leasing or financial services, with strong expertise in GAAP and IFRS standards.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough financial audits to ensure compliance with industry benchmarks and standards.Assess financial systems, processes, and controls to identify risks and implement improvements.Act as a key liaison with external auditors to facilitate smooth and timely SPV audits.Perform internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and enhance operational efficiency.Provide insights and responses to regulatory bodies on financial management matters.Advise on financial structuring for debt, leasing, and asset transactions.Analyze aircraft impairments and validate hedge accounting practices.Qualifications: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACA qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.2-5 years of experience in financial auditing, ideally within aircraft leasing or financial services.Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory frameworks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, audit tools, and ERP systems.Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams.High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Benefits:
