This role is perfect for an experienced leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership:Manage the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring exceptional care and a safe, nurturing environment for all residents.
Personalized Care Planning:Develop and maintain individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
Team Development:Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives for nursing staff, promoting best practices in care delivery.
Quality Assurance:Conduct regular audits and implement quality improvement measures to ensure full compliance with HIQA standards.
Health & Safety Compliance:Enforce health and safety protocols, including hygiene practices, fire safety measures, and preventive maintenance strategies.
Requirements: Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMBI registration.
Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a nursing home setting.
Level 6 qualification in Management, Leadership, or a related discipline.
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage teams effectively with strong communication skills.
Comprehensive understanding of HIQA standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices in residential care.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland; candidates must hold a valid work permit or be EU/EEA/Swiss nationals.
