The Role An Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Know Your Customer (KYC) and Transaction Monitoring (TM) Operations Analyst will be responsible primarily for reviewing documentation for new client accounts, updating existing client accounts and providing support on a variety of regulatory and legal procedures regarding new client applications.
The role will include analysing customers' behaviour and performing documents' checks.
The Analyst will be part of a high-performing team of AML/KYC practitioners that will be responsible for mitigating AML risks and driving operational excellence in support of Navro's culture of compliance.
Work shift: TBD This is a permanent position based in Ireland.
We are a remote-first company, however, we do have an office in Dublin City Centre, that is available for all employees to use.
We would also like for our employees to spend at least 2 days a month in the office for team collaboration days.
Requirements Key Responsibilities: Review and monitor documents for new client accounts in accordance with the company onboarding process Requesting appropriate documents from clients to understand their business and their needs from Navro Undertaking KYC due diligence reviews in a timely manner (ID documents verification, PEP and sanction checks, etc.
); Identifying any potential suspicious applications or client behaviour and escalating to the MLRO Summarise & analyse in writing, clear and concise findings of alerts/issues and escalate results through the appropriate channels where applicable.
Completing Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) Transaction Monitoring, and Transaction Screening on clients and beneficiaries as required.
Review, investigate, and escalate as appropriate any alerts/issues raised Data collection and it's storing in accordance with the high standards of the company; Ensuring all information received is treated with the highest confidentiality; Communicate with internal stakeholders and external Partners in order to resolve any issues, as needed Partner with the Regulatory Compliance team to align operational procedures to any regulatory changes Participate in any other compliance activities with an operational aspect as required Any other ad-hoc tasks as needed To be successful in this role, you have: 3+ years' experience in AML compliance/AML/KYC Operations, preferably at a large financial institution with a European customer base Experience in payments is desirable Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or similar is a distinct advantage Good knowledge of the European AML legislation Excellent experience in working within a CDD team performing AML/KYC processes Experience working with KYC software and tools such as LexisNexis RiskNarrative, TrueBiz, etc. Proactive and communicative with an ability to take initiative and assume responsibility Highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail Proactive team player with outstanding communication skills Ability to verify documents correctly within tight deadlines and focus on results You may not possess every single required skill listed, and that's perfectly fine.
