Staff Nurse Opportunity - Cardiac Theatre     We are currently inviting applications for the position of Anaesthetic Staff Nurse for Cardiac Theatre in line with the development of the Cardiothoracic service and Intensive care unit at Mater Private Cork.
    The ideal candidate must ,as a role model, promote best practice in the delivery of nursing care and provide clinical expertise and support within the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
Support, assist and facilitate colleagues in achieving specific Critical Success Factors as developed for the Department.
Encourage a culture of openness and participation through effective communication.
They will also be responsible for their own professional development       Candidate Requirements include:         Registered General Nurse         Be on the live register with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
        Demonstrable commitment to patient Safety & Quality         Up to date knowledge and experience of Theatre practises.
        Management Qualification preferable or willing to undertake         Ability to make decisions with excellent organisational skills A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in Theatre.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrable commitment to patient Safety & Quality Ability to work in a dynamic and intense environment that requires quick thinking and excellent analytical and assessment skills Experience in Cardiothoracic's highly advantageous         Ability to work on their own initiative and to be self motivated.
