Application Security Engineer

I'm seeking to hire an experienced Application Security Engineer on behalf of our Dublin-based client.
You will work with the software engineering department to design and implement security controls and protect applications from security threats.
Duties: Reviewing code to outline security flaws and design weaknesses Developing and implementing security testing tools to improve the efficiency of security assessments Working alongside the development team and architects to implement security controls into application designs Carrying out application security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks Performing dynamic application testing and manual code reviews Requirements: 5+ years' experience in a similar application security role, with experience of working directly with software development teams Strong understanding of application security principles and common vulnerabilities Good understanding of the secure software development lifecycle Experience of working in public cloud environments (GCP, Azure & AWS) Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as OWASP and NIST Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java and .NETIf you are interested in this position, please apply below.
