Apprentice Pipefitter

Job Description King and Moffatt Building Services is currently looking to hire a number of Pipe Fitter Apprentices for our Off-site facility in Carrick-on-Shannon.
This is a 4-year Solas apprenticeship, giving you the opportunity to earn as you learn, while becoming a fully qualified Pipefitter, with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Craft.
What you would do Work with a variety of specialized hand and power tools  Develop a knowledge of a range of piping systems  Perform a range of welding processes  Interpretate pipefitting drawings and specifications  Plan and organize the installation of piping systems  Inspect and test piping systems and fault diagnosis  Perform routine maintenance and repairs on piping systems  Day to day liaison with the Supervisor  Secure pipes to the building structure in an approved manner.  Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.  Qualifications Leaving Certificate A positive attitude towards learning and the ability to solve problems  Under supervision, efficiently work independently or as part of a team  Excellent communicate skills Demonstrate good work practices including timekeeping, tidiness, responsibility, quality awareness and safety awareness  CSCS Skill Card/Safe Pass ideally Additional Information Having an inclusive and flexible culture helps the business continue to grow as a strong, dynamic and innovative organisation.
