This is a full-time/direct hire position offering a competitive salary with a full benefits package. Job Title: APU/Repair Service Technician
Summary: Aviation technician troubleshoots, repairs, and/or overhauls and tests aircraft components, including the removal and reinstallation of all sub-components.
Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Work involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and testing of components serviced and piece parts of the repair station manual.Applies technical knowledge of aircraft components in determining equipment malfunctions.Restores equipment condition and/or operation using required expertise.Solves moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals.Makes entries in work order documentation for work performed.Understands and performs functions in accordance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001 Standards.Qualifications: Minimum four years of actual and recent experience in the repair, modification, maintenance, and overhaul testing of APU.Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings, and other small scales.May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklifts, etc.Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and with customers.Must be able to read dials/gauges and identify small objects and hand tools.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and document maintenance functions.Ability to communicate effectively across mediums, audiences, and situations.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., over 40 lbs.
