Oversee the implementation of security monitoring and incident response capabilities, ensuring that the system is monitored for security events in real-time. Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response teams to ensure that security incidents are detected and responded to promptly and effectively. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the security team, guiding engineers and analysts in security best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, operations, and business units, to ensure that security is embedded in all aspects of the project. Lead security-related discussions with senior management and stakeholders, providing expert advice on security risks and strategies. Stay current with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats, and continuously seek opportunities to improve the security architecture and practices. Prepare and present security reports to senior management, highlighting key security metrics, risks, and recommendations. Your Profile Key skills/knowledge/experience: Extensive experience in designing and implementing security architectures for complex systems, preferably in financial services or similar industries. Proven track record of integrating security into the SDLC and working with development and operations teams. Proficient in risk management, threat modeling, and secure coding practices. Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent are highly desirable. Deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR). Strong technical knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, encryption, IAM/PAM, SIEM, VAPT, Application Security, and EDR. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
