Citi has embarked on a multi-year transformation effort to simplify and modernize its core inventory and automation platforms. As part of the transformation, Citi is migrating to a new next generation of Orchestration platform called "Inventory Orchestration" - IO. To support the transformation initiative, Citi is looking to hire a Senior Architect to lead the development and implementation of overall technical and architecture vision supporting the organization's business goals and objectives. This role will be responsible for collaborating and partnering with a team of other architects and developers to create, deliver scalable and secure solutions.
The Architect will play a crucial role in the organization's digital transformation efforts, and will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to support the business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the group's technical and architectural vision and strategy supporting the organization's business goals and objectives.Design and implement secure and scalable technical solutions to support the organization's workloads.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, data protection, and disaster recovery.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technologies and tools.Monitor and troubleshoot critical issues, and implement solutions to resolve them.Provide training and guidance to teams on the use of architecture best practices.Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization's infrastructure.Create artifacts such as architecture diagrams and data flow diagrams.Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in design and implementation of large systems.7+ years experience and proficiency with event-driven design and architecture (i.e. Kafka, Spark, etc).5+ years experience and strong knowledge of Java or Go Lang.Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.Proven architecture experience in building scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low latency applications.Proficiency with Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools (Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc).Proficiency with API Management tools.Experience in technical leadership re-engineering monolithic applications into Microservices.Familiarity with security and compliance best practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong leadership.Experience with cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services.Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.Master's degree preferred.Job Family Group: Technology
