Area Sales Manager - Aurivo Homeland Retail And Agribusiness

As an Agribusiness Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Retail Stores under your control and the generation of the specified budgeted bottom line profit.
You will report to the Agribusiness Sales and Procurement Manager.
Key Responsibilities Develop a Sales Plan for your allocated Stores Have an involvement in all Aurivo related activity in your area and promote best practice at farm level through the use of the Farm Commercial Specialist Team, the Farm Profitability Team and the Nutritionist E nsure adherence to the provisions outlined in the Procedures Manual in all aspects of Stores operation Ensure stock levels are maintained at agreed levels and ensure that the prescribed stock turnover levels are achieved on an annual basis.
Identify areas of growth potential and turn these into profitable sales.
Ensure that agreed budgets are adhered to and that expected gross margins are achieved across all stock ranges consistently.
Take remedial action where budgeted targets are not being achieved.
Ensure that the CORE ERP system is used to its full potential and that all prescribed procedures and processes are adhered to Ensure that all staff are trained to an adequate standard in Customer Service and Merchandising techniques.
Facilitate and support organisational change as necessary to maintain competitiveness.
Ensure all customer complaints / issues arising are dealt with in a constructive manner.
Ensure all staff issues are dealt with in accordance with established Aurivo practice.
Ensure attendance and holiday records are maintained accurately for all employees under your control Communicate pertinent information to employees and management regarding any issues arising as appropriate.
Ensure that all appropriate standards are maintained at all times including sales targets, safety, hygiene and housekeeping Ensure that all Health and Safety and Risk issue are dealt with as a matter of urgency and that a positive Health and Safety culture is developed in your Stores  Any other relevant duties that may arise from time to time.
Additional Requirements Third Level qualification or equivalent in appropriate discipline. Good literacy and numeracy skills required.
Computer literate.
Appropriate retail experience with good knowledge of Agri sector and requirements.  Preferably some previous managerial experience in retail environment. Good business acumen and people skills.
Ability to drive sales, lead effective times, strong communication and influencing skills.
