Field Area Sales Manager - Galway - Permanent As the Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales performance and managing our dedicated team of professional drivers. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with both new and existing customers while leading your team to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with customers in your assigned territory.Sales Growth: Promote our fuel, lubricant, and service offerings, achieve sales targets, and identify opportunities for growth.Team Leadership: Lead, support, and collaborate with a team of highly experienced drivers, who take pride in their deep knowledge of our customer base. Work alongside them to ensure alignment with our sales and customer service strategy, while respecting their valuable insights and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.Business Development: Identify and generate leads for new business opportunities, ensuring long-term growth in the region.Operational Excellence: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, including logistics, fuel card services, and credit control.Reporting: Provide insights on market trends and sales activities, keeping management informed on key developments.Debtor Management: Work closely with the Credit Control Manager to manage aged debts and ensure compliance with credit policies.Requirements: Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Field Sales.Proven Leadership: Experience leading a team, with the ability to inspire and motivate, especially in a logistics or field service environment.Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with strong negotiation skills.Customer-Focused: A proactive, enthusiastic approach to customer service and problem-solving.Mobility: Full driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contactDeirdre Moran. ****** (091) 706710
