Armont Recruitment have partnered with a leading multinational seeking an ambitious Tax Specialist with VAT experience to join their dynamic team based in Dublin.
This business has rapidly expanded over the years through global development and is progressively expanding their European operations within Ireland.
The role will report to the Tax Manager, it will suit a candidate with 3+ years VAT experience within a multinational organisation looking to join a rapidly growing business.
The Role Ensure accurate and timely preparation, completing and filing of VAT return and all compliance work Manage errors and expectations to minimise the impact on financial result and avoid non compliance penalties with Tax Authorities Manage any queries received by the statistical office in relation to the Intrastat declarations Guide and support junior members of staff with all VAT returns and payment Ensure all the relevant VAT Team controls are completely Get involved with ad hoc projects The Candidate 3+ years experience of working within multinational VAT/Tax position Strong understanding of VAT rules and basis accounting principles Ability to work under pressure Strong attention to detail Proficient in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, "if" function) and ERP systems The Reward Salary range, €40,000 €45,000 DOE Bonus Pension Healthcare Gym Flexible working hours Hybrid working 25 days annual leave Parking Skills: Taxation Tax Returns Tax Preparation International Tax Tax Administration Tax Accounting Benefits: Annual Bonus / 13th Cheque Pension Fund Medical Aid / Health Care Gym Parking
