Assistant Accountant (12 Month FTC) – Co. Cavan The Position:

Assist the Finance Manager to ensure accounts and reports are prepared to a high standard of accuracy and to appropriate deadlines.

Salary: €35 - 40K with a €5K completion bonus + healthcare cover!

Duties in the role: Prepare monthly management accounts for review in accordance with month end timetable Process supplier invoices and bank payments, reconciliation of supplier statements Maintenance of month end accruals for outstanding invoices, insurance, late expenses etc. Allocation of customer receipts Maintenance of fixed asset register Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations in accordance with divisional policy Reconciliation of ICO balances Upload to Comshare, consolidation and validation checks Preparation of monthly forecasts Preparation of half year and full year Stat Packs for group submission Production of weekly sales report Preparation of annual budgets Ad hoc reporting as requested by management Adhere to the organization's compliance obligations, policies, processes and procedures Report compliance concerns, issues and failures Participate in training as required
