3 Months Temp Reed is delighted to partner with a fantastic charity to assist them with recruitment for an Assistant Accountant to support them for a duration of 3 months.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be based in our Dublin office and will support the finance team in completing the year-end financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of financial statements.
Pay rate: €26.12- €29.03per hour/ paid every week + holiday accrual Duties in the role: Support with the preparation and finalisation of the year-end financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet and accompanying notes to the financial statements.Assist in drafting statutory accounts in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., FRS, SORP).Support the reconciliation of key accounts and ensure accurate postings.Support the senior financial accountant as the main contact for external auditors during the year-end audit.Respond to auditor queries, and provide supporting documentation.Work closely with the finance team and other departments to resolve discrepancies and gather necessary information.Support other ad-hoc financial analysis and other duties which from time to time may be assigned to the position as requiredKey Competencies:
