A vacancy now exists for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join the finance team and gain exposure across all aspects of a busy finance function.
The role offers significant upward career progression within the organisation, suited to an ambitious Assistant Accountant looking to enhance their skills and further their career.
Role Responsibilities: Provide support to the Senior Accountant in the planning and monitoring of month end processesPreparation of monthly management accounts to include journals, reconciliations, profit margin and variance analysisResponsible for intercompany reconciliations and reportingReporting of the monthly information pack to group levelWorking alongside senior accountant, assist with budget and forecasting analysis and commentariesFinancial analysis and controlling of overheadsAssisting in the preparation of Tax returns and statutory accountsResponsible for supporting the processing of asset sales and purchasesBanking duties including authorising invoices and payments in accordance with regulations and proceduresPoint of contact for auditors and dealing with any queriesOther ad-hoc reporting or duties as assigned by senior managementCandidate Requirements: Part-Qualified Accountant currently studying towards professional examsMust possess good problem-solving skills with the ability to work well on own initiativeSkilled in working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detailAbility to communicate clearly at all levels within a businessProficient with IT systems and MS OfficeThis is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant looking for a broad role as they progress through their professional exams.
